Green eggs and ham

Well… it’s obvious, really!

BJH-green-egg-baseThanks, Belinda, for an egg that’s super simple but effeggtive.

And what’s not to love in a Dr Seuss story? This one was apparently written by Dr Seuss (Theodore Geisel – remember that for your next trivia night) as the answer to a challenge set by his editor to see if he could write a complete book using only 50 words.

In case you’re wondering, the 50 words are: a, am, and, anywhere, are, be, boat, box, car, could, dark, do, eat, eggs, fox, goat, good, green, ham, here, house, I, if, in, let, like, may, me, mouse, not, on, or, rain, Sam, say, see, so, thank, that, the, them, there, they, train, tree, try, will, with, would, you. (At least according to CNN’s article 10 stories behind Dr Seuss stories.)

I wonder if I can find my copy so I can check!
