Way back when we first started decorating eggs, we didn’t realise we were starting something that would last for generations to come. We didn’t think to date the eggs at the time, but we think this little Hedgehog is the oldest of them all. It was decorated by my sister, Robyn, using a dripping candle.
She thinks it was made in 1976 – the oldest egg in the collection with a date is from 1978.
